2018 Awards Banquet
Saturday January 5th, 2019 - 6:30 PM
Crowne Plaza Little Rock - 201 S Shackleford Road, Little Rock, AR 72211
A celebration banquet for the 2018 show year featuring the presentation of our Year-End Awards, a silent auction, and door prizes. There will be a Mexican buffet, beverages, and dessert, plus a cash bar.

Early Bird Price: $45 per person; Regular Price: $55 per person.

RSVP Form and payment must be RECEIVED by December 28th, 2018 to qualify for the Early Bird Discount; all other reservations, which will be charged at full price, must be received by December 31st, 2018. 
Absolutely no additional reservations will be accepted after the December 31st deadline.

​2019 AHJA Membership may also be included with the Banquet RSVP (a membership form is attached - please fill it out if purchasing a 2019 membership even if you were a member in 2018).

We need item donations for the silent auction that we will be holding again. The funds raised from our silent auction go towards prizes throughout the year, the year-end awards, and hosting shows and other events. Donations should be in new or like-new condition and must be family-friendly considering our audience is all ages. A variety of items is welcome - we seem to have the best results with a mix of horse-related items, package baskets from different stores, art, jewelry, etc.  If you have an item to donate, please contact Kathleen Bishop either by email (teddydvm@hotmail.com) or text (501-844-0376) to coordinate a pick-up.

We also need photos for our slideshow which will be on display at the banquet! Please send us your pictures of AHJA members and trainers from horse shows (AHJA or otherwise), from lessons or around the barn, candid shots, etc. All photos should be sent to Shana Rawlings at srharmony@att.net with the subject line "AHJA Photo". Please also include names of horses, people, and places pictured.


The soft deadline for all banquet-related things is December 28th (early bird discount) and the hard deadline is December 31st!
Fall Clinic
Clinic with Joey Brumbaugh
September 29-30, 2018
Applewood Farm - 18123 Lawson Road, Little Rock, AR 72210


AHJA will be hosting a clinic with trainer Joey Brumbaugh (of Tulsa, OK) at Applewood Farm in Little Rock on the weekend of September 29-30, 2018.  There will be three groups for Hunters divided by heights of 18"-2', 2'3"-2'6", and 2'9"-3'; and three groups for Jumpers/Eventers divided by low, intermediate, and advanced (jump heights will be adjusted for the groups).

Entry fees will be discounted for riders who are current members of AHJA and USHJA.
