2019 Awards Banquet
Saturday January 11th, 2020
Crowne Plaza Little Rock - 201 S Shackleford Road, Little Rock, AR 72211
A celebration banquet for the 2019 show year featuring the presentation of our Year-End Awards, a silent auction, and door prizes. There will be a Mexican buffet, beverages, and dessert, plus a cash bar.

Price: $45 per person.

RSVP Form and payment must be RECEIVED no later than Thursday January 9th, 2020. 
Absolutely no additional reservations will be accepted after the deadline.

​2020 AHJA Membership may also be included with the Banquet RSVP (a membership form is attached - please fill it out if purchasing a 2020 membership even if you were a member in 2019).

AHJA June Clinic with Joey Brumbaugh
Saturday June 15th & Sunday June 16th
Hosted by Applewood Farm (Little Rock) & Seamist Farm (Benton)
AHJA welcomes back Joey Brumbaugh of Tulsa, Oklahoma for another fun and educational riding clinic.  There will be multiple groups for Hunters divided by heights based on our show divisions and at least one group for Jumpers that will be split by height as needed.  The first day of the clinic will focus on flat work and gymnastics, while the second day will build on that foundation to include lines and course work.  Joey is an excellent instructor for all ages and all levels of riding ability.    

Entry fees will be discounted for riders who are current members of AHJA, and further discounted for riders who are current members of both AHJA and USHJA.  

Entries are due by Monday, June 10th, 2019.  Ride times and locations will be posted by Wednesday, June 12th.

AHJA Day at the Races
Saturday March 30th, 2019
Oaklawn Racing & Gaming - 2705 Central Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901
AHJA will be sponsoring a race at Oaklawn on Saturday March 30th.  All members are welcome to join us!  We will have tickets for a block of seating available for the day.  We will be sponsoring the 4th race, and the approximate post time is 2:35pm.  AHJA will present the winner of the race with an award, and a photo will be taken in the winners circle.  Space in the winners circle is limited, and you will need to meet us at the information booth 15 minutes prior to the race to have time to get down to the track.  Copies of the winners circle photo can be purchased from Oaklawn for a fee.

"Ask the Judges" Q&A Panel
Saturday March 9th, 2019 - 6:00-8:00 PM
Pinnacle Valley Farm (viewing lounge) - 6800 Pinnacle Valley Road, Little Rock, AR 72223
Some of our local judges will be on hand to explain what they're looking for in a winning entry including judging criteria, scoring, ring etiquette, and proper turnout for horse and rider, and they will also answer questions from attendees.  Entry will be free for AHJA members and $5 for non-members (to help cover costs of provided food and beverages).  Pizza, salad, and drinks will be served.  Parents are encouraged to attend!


Please fill out the RSVP Form below so we can have an accurate headcount for the evening (so we know how much food to order!) by Friday March 8th.
Non-member attendees, please bring payment (cash or check) to the event and pay at the door.

Early Bird Price: $45 per person; Regular Price: $55 per person.

RSVP Form and payment must be RECEIVED by December 28th, 2018 to qualify for the Early Bird Discount; all other reservations, which will be charged at full price, must be received by December 31st, 2018. 
Absolutely no additional reservations will be accepted after the December 31st deadline.
